Bimex

This is one of the many Apple II-clones, but this one has a special story.

This was an officially illegal copy of the Apple IIeuroplus and it’s made in the Netherlands, in Haelen.

The company Bimex bought these machines, replaced everything Apple with the word Bimex. Even manuals were translated and Apple was replace by Bimex.

In 1984, Bimex was sued by Apple and Apple won. Bimex had to destroy all Bimex computers, sold and unsold. As far as we know, this happened. Only one survived….
