Apple II+ Electron

Built by Alex Topsvoort around 1985.

It took hundreds of hours to build this computer. Everything is neatly documented and assembled. It took many hours to label the case, which Alex also did by hand.

Alex writes the following about the name:

The case says Apple II+ Electron. Electron comes from my pirate past on 3 meters (100-104MHz). I started building transmitters when I was about 13 years old and for that you needed a name: Electron. I was not a music station with it, but mainly used it to make connections, but of course it was possible to broadcast music, even in Hifi stereo. Nevertheless, I had enough listeners; I had to be careful not to say stupid things, because the next day the whole school would hear about it. Of course, that was all self-made too.
