Philips NMS 8250

One of the 3 ‘desktop’ MSX-machines from Philips which were MSX2. Original design is from Sanyo and just rebranded by Philips for the European market.

NMS means ‘New Media Systems’ which shows where Philips was heading.

The NMS-8255 is exactly the same system but with 2 drives.

This specific 8250 has the special Philips Music Module on the side, also used to connect the keyboard and provide better sound in games.
