Nintendo Virtual Boy

Nintendo Virtual Boy (バーチャルボーイ) is a semi-handheld game console from Nintendo that was first released in 1995. Virtual Boy is the first handheld game console to carry the concept of 'true 3D graphics' by using the principle of stereography in creating of a three-dimensional effect on the screen. The Virtual Boy device is a glasses-shaped projector equipped with a tripod and gamepad. This console uses cartridges for the games. The screen consists of two 2-bit monochrome red screens of 384x224 pixels.
