Apple iMac G3

The iMac G3 was a series of personal computers developed by Apple between 1998 and 2003. The series formed the first generation of the iMac computers.

MacOS 9 was promoted by Apple as "The Best Internet OS Ever," and points raised include Sherlock 2's Internet lookup capabilities (Sherlock was a program similar to File Explorer in Windows), Apple's free services (iTools), and more.

MacOS 9 was also the last "classic" MacOS and its successor was the MacOS X line. During WWDC 2002 it was announced that MacOS 9 would no longer be supported.
