Atari Mega ST2
The MEGA series was intended as "professional" versions of the 520 and 1040 ST lines. The MEGA computers still run on a 68000 8 MHz processor and can also be connected to a high-quality laser printer that was a direct competitor to Apple's LaserWriter (at a significantly lower price). This led to the Atari slogan "Power Without the Price". The machine, like other STs, could be connected to a color or black and white monitor and had a matching hard drive.
The machine was improved by using a clocked battery backup, a Blitter coprocessor that mainly helped speed up the graphics, and a CPU expansion port. Inside it contains a 720k floppy drive and 2mb of RAM.
